This full size security camera can accept C mount or CS mount lenses. It has a built-in on-screen display (OSD) menu for easy setup and front-end image capture. Advanced camera functions, programmable through the on-screen display menu, include slow shutter, dynamic range adjustment and backlight and motion sensing (with an alarm output included for ease of use).

Major Video Processing Enhancements

The Sony Double-Scan CCD video sensor allows this camera to create images of much better quality in a wide range of environments. True Wide Dynamic Range employs a non-digital method that provides excellent image quality when the subject is in front of a brightly lit background, or a background that contains high contrast colors and great variations in light and dark. Such situations may occur when the camera is directed at a location behind large store or display windows. Sunlight streaming into the windows will create contrast/brightness problems for many cameras. Rapidly changing patterns of light/dark (such as when passersby or traffic obscures outdoor lighting) can create similar video problems. The Sony HAD II video sensor compensates and provides better images than other cameras in the same setting.
