Matched Sony video sensor and chipset

The ECL-555N is a 420-line color camera designed for indoor use. Its small size makes it easy to place. Armed with a Sony sensor and a Sony digital signal processing chipset, this camera runs cooler, draws less power and provides clearer video than similar designs the use mixed chipsets.

Along with a matched Sony chipset this camera offers additional useful features. It's small, less than 3 inches in diameter at the base, which makes it easy to place. The clear dome requires no special tools for removal so adjustments can be quick and easy. Camera angle can be adjusted using common hand tools.

This camera contains a matched Sony video sensor and a Sony integrated circuit chip (IC) dedicated to processing video signals. This combination provides a cleaner and more stable signal than designs that use "generic" ICs that work with a variety of signal types. Its other features include:
